Beschrijving

Major Regions:

  1. Marquesian outposts funded by princelings and merchants.

  2. Chult (drop in Tomb of Annihilation)

  3. Remote Islands not yet visited by foreigners, sparsely populated and megalithic ruins dot the landscape. Local tribes make offerings on small volcanic islands twice a year and the Komisians take this as tribute. The sunken ruin of Avalir is somewhere SE of the island.

  4. Muguuwa Jitu "here be giants", the big folk still rule here. Anyone smart will steer clear.

  5. Hot Springs Island (drop in The Dark of Hot Springs Island)

  6. Kazar Nav'dur, mountainous islands named by elves long ago. A lone archdruid lives deep in the wilderness, waiting for a younger druid strong enough to kill him and take his place as warden of the island. A nation of seafaring people populate the coast and their warriors ride flying dinosaurs.

  7. Qelong (drop in Qelong or Yoon Suin) independent cultures thrive in the river valleys on these 2 big islands. Rival archwizards have been at war with each other for years now and the parts of the landscape are scarred by magic.

  8. Kono Isles (drop in The Elves Tell Lies), often called the 'Ossended Host' by outsiders. They are a mostly isolationist culture but have had  occasional exchanges with Kryn envoys.

Factions:

Rumors:

  1. There is another continent out there someone in the vast eastern sea, the Kono myths claim they came from there long ago

  2. The islands were once a great land, smashed by the gods in the Calamity

  3. Elves are blamed for the Calamity and locals almost universally despise them

  4. A great empire dwells beneath the waves south of the archipelago, they call themselves Komis. Sailing too far south without permission is certain death.

  5. The Pirate Queen Muan Nong Talaal hid her great treasures on the central isles

  6. Prophecy says that a deluge will wipe the islands clean. Each island has their own reasoning: tears of a heartbroken god, a mythic beast, divine punishment, etc.
